It's Monday! What are you reading?

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? a place to meet up and share what you have been, and are about to be reading over the week. This meme started on J Kaye’s blog and then was hosted by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn here at The Book Date.

Jen Vincent, Teach Mentor Texts, and Kellee of Unleashing Readers decided to give It’s Monday! a kidlit focus. If you read and review books in children’s literature – picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels, young adult novels or anything in those genres – join them.

We had an eventful week! Two dental appointments, helping my stepson stay organized and on task as he made up missing school work, knitting my daughter's birthday shawl ... what do these things have in common? Less time for reading!! I also got my first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine (I'm at high risk for complications), which was momentous.

Anyway, I had less time to read, but the books I finished this week were all great! My favorite was The Vanderbeekers: Lost and Found.

What I read last week:

  1. All the books shared look good, Wendi. I don't know if I'll ever catch up with The Vanderbeekers, but I liked the early ones. I noted Crown and the new Dogman. Thanks, & Happy February!
