Don't Ever Tell by Lucy Dawson
Charlotte has a great family and the perfect job, writing mystery thrillers. But beyond the facade, things aren’t so perfect. Her husband, Tris, belittles her profession, and rarely helps with the kids. She and her sister are still reeling by the unexplained eight year absence of their father. And Charlotte’s novels aren’t receiving the attention they deserve. So when Mia steps into her life, Charlotte sees a perfect opportunity.
But Mia is vulnerable, a struggling actress with a bad breakup in her past. Under Charlotte’s tutelage her world changes forever.
This is a riveting novel with some interesting twists and turns. I admit, I wanted all the loose ends nicely tied up, and that didn’t quite happen here. But it was certainly an engaging read!
